Skating Rink at Hot Springs melts and closes

I couldn't believe this, but it seems the outdoor skating rink in Hot Springs Arkansas had to close because it wasn't cold enough to form ice. And people doubt global warming exists.

Many workers would rather have time off than attend a holiday work party

Apparently people would rather get away from work and be paid than attend a work party with their boss and co-workers. You know - the people they spend every day with.

The surprising part is that this wasn't the result of a scientific study. The findings are the result of a 'survey' by a marketing research firm. No double-blind study, no placebos, just asking people a bunch of questions.

So quite simply - I don't believe it!
